"Feeling comfortable in one’s skin and perfectly at home in one’s element is perhaps the most important dimension of happiness."
— Dr. Paul Wong

It is fair to say that most humans feel they are in their best selves when they have a sense of both stability and freedom. That is what most of us wish: to feel safe and delighted to be alive.

All of us experience times in our lives when we feel mentally overwhelmed. This is normal and part of being human: it is nothing to be ashamed of. Perhaps we are finding it difficult to manage our daily stress or it could be that we are experiencing more persistent and severe anxiety. We can feel helpless and powerless when we have these experiences.

Often, while we know intellectually there are things we should be doing to help us relax and enjoy life, we have blocks to applying these strategies or can't feel them working in our bodies.

In this three day training, Alison Potts on Innate Being, will offer education on how our nervous systems operate on certain rhythms of healing and how we can use this knowledge to cooperate with that healing, gift ourselves with effective tools and strategies and feel empowered to help ourselves when we are struggling, and - most of all - feel at home inside ourselves and outside in life and the world.

You will learn and practice enriching strategies for recovery, healing and thriving, using tools and practices backed by science and which feel at home in your body and personal life, whether you are wishing to learn skills for dealing with stress-management or dealing with more acute anxiety, depression or trauma.

By the end of the training, you will have a deeper understanding of yourselves and others, a strengthened and renewed trust in yourself and your body and repertoire of tools and techniques to support yourself and those you care about at home and in the workplace.

This is also an ideal opportunity for those who, within their own work, wish to add to their existing knowledge and toolkits, including practitioners, teachers, coaches and workplace wellbeing advocates.

The approach to meditation and practice that you will learn in this course is holistic, body-centred, heart-centred, senseful, soulful and mindful and draws on the work of some of the most recognised teachers in the world of mental health and embodied practice. Alison's teaching is compassionate, welcoming, informative and adaptable to many areas of life.
