Rest & Reset with Alexandra & Yoshie

  • Inna Bliss Yoga 57 Oxford Street Bulimba, QLD, 4171 Australia (map)

Immerse yourself in Harmonic Sound Therapy, Slow Flow and Restorative Yoga.

This offering begins with participants receiving a Singing Ring, crown therapy session by Yoshie. Singing Ring, crystal infused metal bowls resonance lasts for around 135 seconds. It’s very long and rich frequencies and beautiful harmonic overtones induce deep relaxation and inner peace.

To continue in supporting your ability to completely Rest & Reset Alexandra will lead the group through a nourishing Slow Flow and Restorative Yoga session, whilst Yoshie circulates the room giving each participant personalised Singing Ring Sound Therapy on their front and back bodies throughout the restorative yoga session.

Singing Ring®︎ sound therapy bowls are hand-made by traditional Japanese craftsmen with crystal-infused metals. They are called a “Miracle Instrument’ by Japanese scientists and here's a few reasons why:

• The bowls produce a wide range of harmonic overtones ("energy waves" or "vibrational frequency")

• Each of the same-sized bowls is tuned perfectly to resonates with each other and to your body.

• When you fill the bowl with water, a 2D hexagram appears on the surface when it is played in a circular motion. A hexagram is a figure that demonstrates the most stable energy.

• Singing Ring’s sound and the brain waves research by Dr. Kimiko Kawano, Nippon Medical School: “Listening to Singing Ring®︎ while lying on the stomach seems to relax the person the most and it shows how alpha waves are gradually growing larger. It is significantly shown also that alpha waves move from the vertex towards the front of the brain. This occurrence is like what happens in meditation. Being in the resonating sound space, the cerebral neocortex, which is normally active, is calmed: therefore, a state of mind like that found during meditation.” Source: https://en.sion-inc.com/research
